Product Description
The new Embersafe extinguisher is an innovative water type fire extinguisher that is worn as a backpack and filled being worn, which eliminates the awkward requirement of trying to fit a weighted object to your back.
The Embersafe fire extinguisher is especially useful in prescribed burning and the establishment of firebreaks or any fire situations where embers need to be put out effectively. The refillable tank uses an innovative air pouch system to regulate pressure inside the tank ensuring a continuous stable high pressure flow at all times.
Filling the system is as easy as connecting the hose to a garden tap and turning off the valve when full. This is extremely advantageous over other existing fire extinguishers that need to be refilled with professional equipment. The Embersafe allows for unhindered patrolling around a property enabling you to quickly dowse any threatening embers before they can ignite larger fires. As the unit is powered off water pressure no pumping is required by the user, which allows for immediate use after filling. The Embersafe provides a surprising amount of spraying from a single refill from the simple garden tap and is also useful for watering and washing down which is a great way to keep familiar with the equipment through-out the year.
What is an ember attack?
An ember attack is when the burning parts of trees such as twigs, branches or leaves become temporarily airborne during a bushfire. These embers are the primary cause of spot fires, which contribute to the contin-ued spread of a bushfire. Embers can ignite combustible materials outside the home such as a doormat or garden plants. If left to burn, they may ignite parts of the house and eventually cause the entire house to burn down. Property owners often underestimate the danger of an ember attack even after the bushfire has passed.
If embers are not extinguished they can also lodge themselves within firefighting equipment, clothing and vehicles. The Ember Attacker is an effective way to protect your home by extinguishing embers after they land.

An ergonomic harness made to hiking pack & breathing apparatus specifications so the weight is taken on the legs and not the shoulders, this reduces fatigue and strain injury. The cylinder is firmly anchored to the back with an adjustable lumbar pad to suit different height wearers. The harness body contact points are made of breathable material with full adjustable straps with quality fasteners.
A narrow cylinder to reduce “sloshing” when moving over difficult terrain.
The pressure envelope is electronically tested during manufacture, and does not have to be disturbed during the life of the unit. Every steel cylinder is polyester powder coated and tested to 2500KPa.
